Dear Prospective Families,

Olivia-Brazil

On behalf of our Pastor, Father Fergal McGuinness, our Vice-Principal, Lani Manasse, the faculty/staff, and students, I would like to extend a warm welcome to St. A’s. We are excited that you have come to visit and experience our school community. Please know that we are here to assist and work with you in this most important responsibility you have as parents: the formation and education of your whole child. Our school prides itself on educating our students in faith, academics, social/emotional and physical development.

As parents, you are the primary educators of your child, thus, partnering with a school that holds similar values as yours is vitally important for your child to be “at home.” Again, we encourage you to visit our school, ask questions, and feel the energy and enthusiasm of this very special place.

If the following factors are important to you:

  • A School environment – a community that is infused with faith and moral values
  • A School community where your child is treated as an individual, encouraged to develop his/her gifts and challenged intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually
  • A School community where your child knows she or he is loved, cared for/nurtured, and valued.

St. Apollinaris Catholic School may be just the right place for your family. Children thrive cognitively, spiritually, and emotionally in an environment where they are loved, cared for and valued. Founded by the Sisters of Mercy for over 65 years St. Apollinaris Catholic School has a vast and rich tradition of faith and academic formation.

We are dual accredited through the Western Catholic Education Association (WCEA) and Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Our sense of community, parent involvement, student engagement, faith formation, and academic achievement are seen as major strengths. We live the Gospel through our daily interactions within and outside our school community.

On our website we hope you will find the information that you need. We look forward to talking with you about our school and its mission and providing a much deeper and richer understanding of the importance of a Christ-centered education for your child, as well as the importance of our school in this mission. Welcome!

Blessings,

Olivia Brazil, Principal
